This most recent fire in the Newbridge apartments as pictured, is just a further example of blatant non-compliance with Building and Fire Regulations which is endemic here in Ireland. Note the party / separating walls within the roof / attic spaces were bridged within minutes. Based on evidence and as per the examples given, such non-compliance is being aided and abetted by Building Control and Fire Authorities in the issuing of Fire Safety Certificates, which are not legal documents until it has been established that the building has been inspected on completion and prior to occupation, and found to be compliant with the original application / submissions made.
